Niagra Peninsula Cabernet Franc Ice Wine

A bottle of 375ml Canadian Cabernet Franc Ice Wine at around 10% ABV.

Also known as 'Red Ice'. Rose and salmon tints of colour precede a soft, elegant bouquet. With aromas of light tropical fruit, pepper and spice give the promise of full fruit flavours. Blended with hints of Cabernet spice, with a delightfully long finish.

This 100% Canadian Ice Wine is harvested by hand from snow-covered vineyards in the heart of winter. Naturally frozen on the wine, grapes are hand-pciked when the temperature falls below -10 degrees centigrade.

The frozen fruit is immediately crushed, releasing a tiny amount of sweet nectar which is slowly fermented over several months. The results is one of the world's finest Ice Wines.
