We use two types of champagne for our personalised and engraved champagne gifts and as there isn’t really anywhere which gives you a feel for what the delicious nectar tastes like, we thought we would give you an insight. This review relates to standard champagne.
Let’s start first with where the Champagne we use comes from. Both the standard champagne and the rosé champagne are made in the champagne region of France, near Reims (which is the champagne capital in France!)
The standard “white” champagne is brut champagne, which means it is dry with a slight yeasty taste on the palate, which is very normal for many types of white champagne. Our champagne is a classic and elegant blend of three grape varieties, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. It is an award winning champagne, having gained silver status at the International Wine Challenge 2009. This award winning bottle has lovely fresh apple fruit flavours with hints of citrus and a touch of toastiness on the finish. Try giving
