Rioja Wine
We are constantly adding new gifts to our range of wines to give you wonderful choice when it comes to finding wine gifts for your friends and family, or new wines for you to try. We have just added a brand new range of
Rioja in the form of
Crianza which is a Spanish wine which has been produced in Rioja, Spain and which has had 2 years of aging plus 1 year in an oak barrel to give it a hint of spice and vanilla notes.
Crianza is a vintage wine and the current stock we have in is a 2006 Berceo Crianza Rioja. The Berceo Crianza is a red Spanish wine with soft, supple fruits including dark cherry and it has sumptuous chocolate notes. It has a perfect balance and vitality and it is best served between 15-18 degrees centigrade. Ensure opened or decanted 20 minutes before serving for best flavours. The wine has a good vintage and a 13.5% ABV. It is medium bodied with a class C style rating.
We also have a Rioja Carrizal Crianza in stock, which is garnet in colour with purple glints and it best drunk between 17 and 19 degrees centigrade. This wine is ideal with meat and cheese.
