Alcohol Legislation UK
It is illegal for any persons under 18 years of age to purchase or try to purchase alcohol. It is illegal to act as an agent for someone under 18 years of age in the purchase of alcohol.
In purchasing wine from WineGifts4U the customer agrees that they are not below 18 years of age or acting as an agent for anyone under 18 years of age. By accepting these terms and conditions you acknowledge that you are above 18 years of age.
Price
Prices of goods shown before total include VAT (17.5%). The postage and packaging amount will be shown at the checkout stage.
In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is shown on WineGifts4U.co.uk, we reserve the right to pause the transaction. The customer will be informed by email or post of the correct price of the item(s) ordered and given the option to either continue with their order if they so desire or to obtain a refund for the amount originally received for the particular items.
Online payment
All transactions will be processed by Streamline, which authorises a secure online payment system through www.rbsworldpay.com.
Card and transaction information is not kept by WineGifts4U and consequently will not be shared or disclosed and will only be used to process orders.
Credit/Debit card payments can be made using Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, Solo, Mastercard, Delta and JCB.

Returns Policy
Missing, Wrong, Faulty or Damaged goods
If a gift is found to be missing, wrong, faulty or damaged upon receipt WineGifts4U must be notified within 24 hours of delivery by phone, so we can either arrange a convenient collection of the wrong/damaged/faulty goods or ask you to send the goods back via first class post (please note: we are unable to refund special delivery costs). Once the items have been received back to our depot (at the above address), we will replace the damaged or faulty item for new ones within 2-3 working days stock permitting. Missing, damaged or faulty goods brought to our attention after this 24 hour time period will remain charged for.
If you have received a damaged or faulty item, we will replace it for you within 2-3 working days from receipt. However, if you no longer require the item at this point, we will happily refund the cost of the item in full minus the original postage charge you paid.
Website Security
The customer should see a golden padlock on the bottom right hand side of their browser when going through the payment process with WineGifts4U.co.uk, which means that your private details are secure.
Delivery Information
Where do we deliver?
WineGifts4U.co.uk currently only delivers to all mainland addresses in England, Wales and Scotland at the price stated (below and) in the shopping cart. By accepting these terms and conditions you realise that the postage and packaging charge that is shown in the shopping cart only covers Monday-Friday deliveries to mainland England, Wales and Scotland addresses. Unless the item is shipped via Royal Mail in which case Saturday delivery maybe applicable.
Items weighing less than 2kg (equivelent to one 75cl bottle) will also be delivered to the Channel Islands, the Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man at the same cost outlined in the shopping cart via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. However, should you require an item that weighs more than 2kg, delivery can still be arranged at an additional charge. Should this be the case a member of staff will contact you to take the extra payment.
International Delivery
Delivery to countries outside of the European Union including Australia and the USA can be arranged at extra cost, for further information contact our customer services team on 01775 640788 before placing your order.
Please Note: Saturday deliveries can be arranged to mainland England, Wales and Scotland at an extra cost of £16 on top of any other delivery charge stated in the shopping cart. Please call us on 01775 640788 (9am-5pm Monday to Friday) for payment.
Delivery Times
Wine, Spirit & Champagne Bottles
WineGifts4U.co.uk offers a fast delivery service to Scotland, Wales and England. Orders will be processed as quickly as possible in relation to the items requested.
Normally gifts are delivered within 1-7 working days from receipt of payment (with the exception of queried items), so gifts delivered within the UK should be received within 7 working days. If this appears not to be the case, you agree to contact WineGifts4U via phone or email enquiries@winegifts4u.co.uk in order to re-arrange delivery, which may incur an additional postage and packaging charge (if it appears Fed Ex or the Royal Mail have attempted delivery).
Orders over the value of £500 may take slightly longer than 7 working days to be delivered. Please get in touch on + 44 (0)1775 640788 for more specific delivery times of larger orders, as we are able to work to deadlines!

The above delivery charges include postage, packaging and delivery of all to mainland Wales, Scotland & England addresses through FedEx UK couriers or Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.
Delivery costs are costed per delivery address NOT per customer order.
Delivery charges will not be refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights.
FedEx UK delivery
All Fed Ex deliveries require a signature, where the recipient is unavailable at time of delivery FedEx UK will try and deliver again. Should there be no-one to collect the parcel on the second attempt, the parcel will be sent back to the depot and re-delivery will incur another delivery charge to be paid before the goods are sent back at out. Should you no longer require the goods at this point, we will be happy to refund the cost of the goods, but will be unable to refund the original postage and packaging charge paid.
Royal Mail Recorded Delivery
Royal Mail requires a signature to confirm receipt of packages. If no-one is in when an attempted delivery is made, a note will be left advising the recipient to collect the parcel from their local Royal Mail Depot or Post Office. Should the parcel not be collected and signed for within 10 days of the note being left, any packages will be returned to WineGifts4U. Re-delivery will incur another postage and packaging charge of the same value to be paid before the goods are delivered. Should you no longer require the goods at this stage we will be happy to refund the cost of the items excluding the original postage and packaging cost and excluding any postage and packaging cost you may have to pay to return the items back to WineGifts4U.
Refunds
WineGifts4U.co.uk operates a refund policy at the discretion of the management team.
Complaints/Customer Service
Email: enquiries@winegifts4u.co.uk and we will do our best to investigate and rectify complaints as soon as possible after they are brought to our attention.
The head-office for WineGifts4U.co.uk operates from 9am-5pm GMT Monday to Friday. The office is closed on all major bank holidays.
Force Majeure
WineGifts4U.co.uk promises to exercise every reasonable effort to meet a requested dispatch date. However, WineGifts4U shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failure to ship resulting from any cause beyond its realistic control, such as, but not limited to, compliance with laws or regulations, acts or omissions of the customer, acts of civil or military authority, judicial action, defaults of sub-contractors or suppliers, labour disputes, failure or delays in transportation, embargoes, wars or riots.
Privacy Policy
WineGifts4U collects the information submitted by the customer at the time of order not only to process the customers’ purchase, but also to provide the highest level of customer service possible. We use all information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. WineGifts4U will only email marketing material with prior consent from the customer. If the customer does not wish to receive any promotional material they have the option to uncheck the relevant box when leaving details. We do NOT pass on details to third parties.
